Correct score market..

I have got to the point with this blog where i no longer know what to say! I have been looking over this months p&l and found out, that some trades im risking way to much and for little reward. After looking at different markets i have found the correct score market to be interesting and has a much better reward and for small risk.. this is what im going to be looking into for the next few weeks.

I have updated my blog, i want to start adding more content and images an making it more interesting just got to work out how. Did some trading today which in the end went pretty well, i’ll wait to the end of the weekend before showing my results as its easier that way.

I choose the Man U v CSKA game and made some nice profits:

I got out after the first goal and greened up, an didn’t expect any more goals – i just watched the rest of the match but could have taken alot more if really tried hard to. It’s always good when the trades go right and as easy as this! If only it was always so easy !

Time fly’s…

November Already! October was a pretty crappy month for me as i didnt have the time to put into trading which was a great shame because i missed alot of matches. I’m hoping to get involved alot more this month and make some good ££££ .

But i still managed to finish this month in the green however little it’s better finishing in profit than losing. After looking at my p&l statement i only traded 10 days out of the month.

Here’s a little chart i made for my p&l october:

As you can see i had one bad day. Losing just under £50.00 other than that all was good. This game was a match and had no money in the markets, no goals was scored and a total nightmare, lesson learnt. Don’t trade football matches from india again unless it’s a major match.

Over the last few days i have exited trades in football games and taken a medium lose instead of losing the entire stake only to find out that if i had left my stake in, the trade would have won. I just need to find a good balance and hopefully the good and bad should then even out over time. I need to start recording if i exit a trade, how many would have won and how many would have lost and go from there… I need to keep records on this and the statistics should help me when trading, i keep saying it now i just got to do it!

 

I have been more careful (most of the time) about the games i choose to trade i made a mistake yesterday though, i told myself don’t trade on the Braga v Benfica game as it would be a crappy match going by the statistics, i ended up putting a bet in and closed it soon after which cost me a nice £11+. But this game got messed up at half time because two players got red cards for fighting at half time and we didnt find that out until the second half had started which made all the odds change alot and the game!

But it shows having confidence in trades makes it easier to trade and when you dont you shouldn’t trade as its going to get messy. But all in all, im finding the football trading much more interesting to trade/bet on then the horse racing. When i started to get into the football i didnt know much, but after watching alot of football i have started to see which players/teams are good, which are bad and the ones to stay away from. The type of markets to get involved in and also the ones to stay away from.

Also im thinking about using the bet angel VPS service, as my internet connection isnt always very fast an im wondering if it would give me an edge. The only think that is stopping me is the price isnt cheap as you have to pay for bet angel + the vps service. Also what i don’t understand is whether bet angel on a vps or your own computer; you are still using it via your internet connection so wont you be limited to your internet connection either way???

Maybe someone can explain it to me a little better…

 

 

Never know what to say…

It’s always hard to find a good title for each post when writing a blog . Got a few trades, today on some football games which worked out well. I also did some trading on the horse racing although i must be honest and say that i found it very boring compared to football trading so i didn’t do many races it was just something to past the time.

Managed to make a nice profit today of £20.78, here’s the p&l statement.

Little bit more…

Managed to trade the arsenal v liverpool game last night and made some money out of that, i did also want to trade the man city v Scunthorpe but when i trade more than one match at a time everything seems to go tits up. So i only traded the one match, arsenal v liverpool and got £7.81 out of the match.

I’m trying to pick my matches more carefully and research well, instead of just jumping in the deep end and then trying to swim out .

 

 

Still around…

Yea, im still around . I have just been really busy with work and other stuff i just havent had the time to do much trading. I did trade on the man u game yesterday making a small profit of £6.83 other than that i have done very few trades.

I’m hoping to get some time this week to do trading again, but i’ll have to wait an see what happens. Just thought i should write a post on the blog as its been some time since i last update it.

Few games today….

Spent some time trading today on the football, went pretty well. The England match was a bit disappointing as the early red card seemed to kill the game, so i lost my trade on that game. The other game was Wales U21 v Bosnia U21, i was hoping for some goals in this match as the statistics show there is normally goals, i ended up closing my trade for a loss.

But generally everything went to plan, i find it hard to trade these different international games, but most of the time i look at the statistics then choose my trades from there. I try to normally go for trades which only need a goal for it to work and then you can trade out for a profit, but some times you have to look around different markets to find good value.

But im still having a hard time using this fairbot application, the time delay is very bad. I’m hoping that bettrader EVO gets sorted this week, i got an email saying about it should be sorted soon. I think if it isnt sorted soon, im just going to use betangel again.

But i managed to get £17.74 out of the market’s today,

There are some games on later today, which i might trade if not there are some games on tomorrow which im going to be trading. So i’ll update on here after.

Bit of football trading today…

I did some trading today, only used smallish stakes because im not used to the type of games that was on today. although I couldnt find alot of statistics and info on the teams, they all seemed pretty high scoring games. Which means they have lots of opportunities for trading, but only placed the odd trade on each game.

I was using fairbot today and for in-play i found it really crap it took so long to place the trade an by the time it did, the odds had changed drastically. This cost me alot of profit on the england game, as i could have placed two more trades which would have won but i just couldnt get the bets in, some times it was taking 24+ seconds to place a trade.

I’m not sure if these types of games have longer delays but 24+ seconds is a bit long, well i think so anyway. Anyway i managed to pull out a total of £13.31 which is pretty good, im just hoping they get the  bettrader EVO up and running soon but im starting to wonder if it’s ever going to come back, as bettrader pro seems to have disappeared for good!

I had a little look at the tennis today but didnt end up doing any trading on it, but am soon.

I think there is a few football games on tomorrow which i will trade hopefully, then update on here afterwards.

September finished… late update…

Sorry for the late update… been doing other stuff and haven’t had much time for trading lately. My last session of trading ended up a mess for some reason it all went totally wrong; every trade. But i ended up in profit in september which is excellent. I have decided that im going to trade just the football markets but also tennis in the near future.

The last day of trading in September i managed to lose £147 on 5 trades, although the worse thing about this is, if i had of done my usual trades they would have all won. Although i ended up in profit still of £141.00 for that month, it did make a dent in my trading bank. The problem was one goal in any of the games would have taken the liability out and put me into profit whatever the outcome on the other matches:

But im going to continue researching the football markets and stick with that for the time being as im enjoying learning about it which helps trading and im making profit from it.

So September Profit ended up being £141.00 which is great and the first month to finish in the green if i had of only traded the football and missed a few trades out there, it could have been much better. So that is my mission this month, just the football trading and no reckless trades.

Upon looking at my P&l for this month i found a trade which seems to be wasting profit, which was a trade trying to scalp the 0-0 for the first 10-15mins of the game, this trade seems to be costing alot more than it was making so im going to stop that trade. So making a few improvements on my strategies should help increase the green this month!

I have been using bettrader EVO for some time as i was a beta tester, although there was a few little bugs still in the program the only one noticeable really for me was it would freeze for about 5-10seconds after a suspended market had happened which was a bit of a problem but i had learnt to adapt to that, other than that it was a good piece of software and i am missing it, as racingtraders seems to be having alot of problems at the moment and signs of everything going back to normal seem far away… im hoping EVO comes back soon but im not sure.

I’m currently using the betfair website to place my trades and manually greening up, it’s pretty hard working everything out but good practice, and because of this an that there hasnt been much good football on for the last few days i havent really been doing alot of trading.

Also managed to get a new TV which im going to be setting sky multi room up so i can put the TV next to my main computer and watch the games live as at the moment im either watching online or having to go down stairs and watch the main tv and trade with the laptop which isnt ideal. So im hoping once i have this all setup it will be easy to trade the football markets.
